Changed by the King's Presence- Synopsis
All too often, Christians come into God’s presence with no awe or wonder of who He is. We act as if God were lucky that we take time to spend with Him. But in reality, it is always our privilege to come before Him. We wouldn’t even have the honor of coming before Him if it wasn’t for what Jesus had done for us on the cross. Jesus’ death on the cross is our invitation to come into His presence. The cross of Christ changes our lives, and it changes the way we enter His presence. We will learn from various Bible characters the ways that we should and shouldn’t approach a king. Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords—we should never leave His presence the same way we came. Are you ready to meet this King?

Kurt Litwiller has been the head pastor at Boynton Mennonite Church in Hopedale, Illinois, since April of 2001. He graduated with a Master’s of Divinity degree from Lincoln Christian Seminary in December of 2001. Other books he has written include: Living Out the Called Life, New Covenant Living, and Humble King to Conquering King. He resides in Hopedale with his wife Janelle.
