Everyday Finance Education - Synopsis
Everyday Finance Education is a wonderful tool designed to teach the basics and principles of everyday finance. This is a course designed to help students, young and old, engage in and realize how everyday mathematics is used in real-world situations. Students will have the opportunity to not only discover how basic math operations/concepts work, but be able to apply them in their everyday thinking. They will also have the opportunity to explore credit cards, banking, bills, earned income, jobs and careers, disposable income, savings and checking, and much more. While this curriculum will not cover every single detail of every topic or lesson entirely, it is designed to incorporate the basics of each topic into everyday thinking pertaining to money situations that are prevalent in today’s society. Ultimately, you have the opportunity to teach yourself what you wish you knew about finance and have basic money knowledge for a better financial beginning.

About David Bean
David Bean, raised in Orlando, Florida, graduated from Cypress Creek High School. He attended Valencia Community College, earned his Associates of Arts Degree and transferred to Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. As a graduate of the Rollins College Education Program, He has been able to see firsthand the importance of education and its many rewards. Accepting a position in finance was definitely one of those instances. He spent 7 years in the finance realm seeing firsthand how important financial education affects people in everyday scenarios and in everyday life. Proud to be back in education, he completely understands the need and importance for financial literacy.
