About Barbara Lea Goetz

Barbara Lea Goetz, a Bismarck, North Dakota resident, graduated with a B.S. Degree in Secretarial Science at Union College, Lincoln, Nebraska. She worked 26 years as a secretary and office manager for the mission organization, STEER, Inc., STEERing money to mission. Although retired for over 12 years, Barbara continues her secretarial skills by serving as part-time secretary for her husband, president of Revival Prayer Fellowship, a ministry that reaches out to churches in the Northern Plains of the U.S., and Ukraine and Moldova. Mrs. Goetz knows well both the joys and struggles of family life – she has been married 52 years, raised five children, and now has 15 grandchildren. “Adventures in Faith & Motherhood” gives mothers a 52-week path for implementing some of the basic disciplines of the Christian faith, such as prayer, Bible reading, and the memorization of Scripture. The book also includes some of the author’s most delicious family recipes as well as detailed instructions for canning, pickling, and making jam.
