About Patrick J. McGuffin
As an author, pastor, business leader, journalist and missionary, Patrick J. McGuffin brings his diverse background and experiences together in reaching many venues.
McGuffin, a University of Florida journalism graduate, spent the first part of his professional career publishing newspapers, ending that part of his life as president and publisher of 19 newspapers. He has published family magazines throughout Florida, as well. Although he owns two printing companies and a book publishing company, his passion is “advancing God’s kingdom by taking what is seen by the eyes of a few and making it known to many.” In addition to his journalism major, McGuffin has a minor in business management and a master’s degree in theology.
He has been married to his wife Sheila for 31 years, and they have two grown married daughters and five grandsons. His missionary efforts focus in South America, where he visits several times each year, and he is an elder/pastor at Freedom Fellowship Church in Orlando, Florida. McGuffin's latest book, Making Sense Out Of Life, is insightful and very timely in light of current economic and relational issues worldwide.
