Humble King to Conquering King- Synopsis
There are some things that happen in our lives that can change the entire course of our lives. A decision we make one week can have implications twenty years later. Well, Jesus had a week that had eternal implications. Not for Him, but for us. He had an eternal life waiting for Him, whether He went to the cross or not, but His decisions were made because He was thinking about us. Jesus started out this particular glorious week as a humble King riding into Jerusalem on a donkey, but by the end of the week, He was standing over the grave as the King who conquered death. He confirms that He is the King above all Kings! During that week, Jesus had many ways He could have escaped the cross. He could have bypassed the cross and went straight to the throne, but He chose the harder path so He could take us to be with Him. Embracing “this week” will change your life!
