Peter Got Out of the Boat
- Synopsis
“Get back in the boat. Who do you think you are?”
But Jesus said one simple word “come” and the man Peter was responding. He stepped onto the turbulent waters and became a partner with Jesus in a miracle.
The impossible was happening. The power of love drew Peter to Jesus’ side and the power of faith sustained him on his journey. Follow Peter from the time he first heard Jesus say “come” to the night Jesus said “come” again. Watch as he is getting to know Jesus and learns of his own weaknesses, yet fights the good fight of faith.
You too can be an overcomer and participator with Jesus in extraordinary events. Step out and put your foot on the water.

Some of Shirley’s earliest remembrances are going to a small country church in Northwestern Ohio where she heard the stories about Jesus. The Word of God has been her constant companion ever since.
After completing bible college courses over 35 years ago, Shirley began teaching in churches, retreats, prisons, home study groups and anywhere a door would open.
Her other published books are Where Do I Serve You Lord and Make Up Your Mind. She and her husband make their home in Western Michigan where she continues to teach and write.
